The Live Life: A Songwriter’s Music Festival will celebrate country music Nov. 11 in Gilbert.
The headliner for the event is Grammy-nominated David Lee Murphy, and those who attend also will have the chance to hear from songwriters responsible for recordings made by artists such as Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney and Miranda Lambert.
“Live Life: A Songwriter's Music Festival is not just about live performances. It's a unique exploration of the creative process behind hit songs and the stories of how songwriters convinced superstar artists to record their tunes,” a release announcing the event stated.
In addition to the live music, the festival, which will take place at 15225 E. Riggs Road in Gilbert, will have beer, wine, full bars, food trucks, axe throwing, cornhole and merchandise.
To honor Veterans Day, a portion of the festival's proceeds will be donated to the HeartStrings Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting veterans and their families.
