Indigenous Peoples' Day affects Tempe services Oct. 9

Tempe will close all city administrative offices Monday, Oct. 9, in observance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day.

Police and fire services will not be affected. Garbage and recycling collection will take place as scheduled, according to the city.

Community centers will remain open as will facilities in Kiwanis Park.

The Tempe Public Library will be closed.
