Two eastbound off-ramps are closed so work can move forward on the Broadway Curve improvement project, and state transportation officials said drivers can expect to see more long-term closures later this year.
The eastbound I-10 off-ramp at 32nd Street will reopen in June after being closed since March, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. Drivers have been using the I-10 off-ramp at 40th Street as an alternate.
Last week, workers closed the eastbound I-10 off-ramp at Baseline Road and plan to keep it off-limits into July. During the closure, ADOT officials suggest drivers continue on eastbound I-10, exit at Elliot Road and turn left onto eastbound Elliot Road to access westbound I-10 and exit at Baseline Road.
Later this year, crews have the following long-term closures planned:
The westbound I-10 on-ramp at 32nd Street.
The HOV ramps that connect US 60 and I-10.
Guadalupe Road between Pointe Parkway and Calle Sahuaro.
