Vice President Kamala Harris will hold a campaign rally at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale on Friday.
Harris, the Democratic nominee for president, and her vice presidential nominee, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz will be at the arena as a part of a tour of battleground states ahead of the Democratic National Convention next week.
Reports are that doors will open at the arena, 9400 W. Maryland Ave, Glendale, at 1:30 p.m. with attendees advised to arrive no later than 3:30 p.m.
Harris has visted the state several times this year, but this will be her first visit as the Democratic nominee after President Joe Biden dropped out of the race last month.
