Grand jury indicts man in West Valley shooting that killed teen girl, 2 babies

A grand jury found enough evidence to indict Michael Sanchez, 18, for a shooting in Buckeye that left a teen girl and two babies dead, Maricopa County authorities said Friday.

“On May 14, Sanchez shot two pregnant teen girls and a young woman, killing his 16-year-old ex-girlfriend and her unborn baby. The injuries forced the other 17-year-old girl to deliver her baby early. The newborn died days later,” a release from the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office stated.
