A Glendale student is one of 14 Arizona students, grades K-6, selected as a winner in the AZ529 Art Contest.

Liliana Hernandez is a 4th grader at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Elementary School, located at 7521 N. 57th Ave., in Glendale.

State Treasurer Kimberly Yee challenged students to draw their dream job, and 343 students submitted entries. The winners will each receive $529 in an AZ529 Higher Education Savings Account.

The students were honored Tuesday with a ceremony at the State Capitol. Each was presented with a certificate and giant check.

Liliana says she wants to be an astronaut.
