Incident claims life of 42-year-old man on Camelback Road

Special to Independent Newsmedia
A 42-year-old is dead following a hit and run collision in Glendale.
Just before 4:30 a.m. on Friday, June 2, Glendale police responded to a vehicle vs. pedestrian collision at the 5300 block of Camelback Road. The pedestrian, a 42-year-old male identified as Arthur Bordeau, was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The suspect vehicle which allegedly hit Bordeau did not remain on scene and left westbound on Camelback Road without stopping. A second vehicle involved in the incident remained on scene and impairment was not determined to be a factor.
Detectives located surveillance footage of the incident and identified the suspect vehicle as a late model Ford F150. The Ford is white in color with a white camper shell. It has black rims, no step rails, and is missing the right rearview mirror.
Investigators are asking the public for assistance in identifying the suspect vehicle.
Anyone with information regarding this collision should contact the Glendale Police Department non-emergency phone number at 623-930-3000.
