September’s metro Phoenix housing sales slump did not extend to Glendale, as 187 single-family home sales closed in the city that month, a 6.3% increase from September 2025.
According to data from Phoenix REALTORS, the 251 new listings in Glendale in September also represented a jump from 2025 — a 6.8% bump from last September.
Jen Taege, Vice President of the Board of Phoenix REALTORS, stated that Glendale’s convenient location near many Valley destinations and mature single-family developments provide stability that newer exurbs of Phoenix, further west and southeast, lack.
