An entity affiliated with Camden Living acquired a 320-unit luxury apartment community at Agritopia's Epicenter, 3150 E. Ray Road in Gilbert, for $124.5 million in a transaction that closed June 30, according to commercial real-estate website vizzda.com.
The seller was an entity affiliated with PGIM Real Estate. Jose Blanco was listed as the seller contact. No debt was recorded in connection with the sale.
The property, located within the Epicenter mixed-use development in the Agritopia neighborhood, consists of two four- and five-story mixed-use buildings totaling 536,649 rentable square feet, according to assessor records. Built in 2021, the community is zoned general commercial in Gilbert.
Amenities include a leasing office, fitness center and elevators. The property also includes 9,787 square feet of residential garage space that is not included in the reported building square footage.
The unit mix ranges from studio apartments to three-bedroom units with one to three bathrooms.
The community was known as The Tyler before the sale but has been rebranded as Camden Gilbert.
The ownership entity was originally created by developer StreetLights Residential, and the property was operated by Greystar prior to the transaction.
