Gilbert offering ice cream for residents' parks input May 18

The Gilbert Parks and Recreation Department is using the lure of ice cream to get people's input on the town's parks master plan.

The department is hosting an ice cream party at ice cream shops throughout town Thursday, May 18 from 3-5:00 p.m.

People who visit one of the participating businesses and share their feedback on the future of Parks and Recreation will get a free treat.

The locations are:

Gilbert Police and Fire & Rescue departments will also be joining the event to mingle with community members.  

Feedback received as part of Gilbert Parks and Recreation's master plan process is used by the decision-makers who will be planning the future of parks and recreation activities in Gilbert.  

The ice-cream party is one of several ways to provide feedback. Those interested can learn more by visiting gilbertaz.gov/prmasterplan.
