Fairlife LLC’s new production plant at Cotton Lane and Thomas Road in Goodyear’s Palm Valley 303 is now open and sourcing milk from local dairies for its products.

The $200 million, 300,000-square-foot facility boasts advanced manufacturing technologies and equipment to enable continued growth more efficiently, while supporting the increased demand for fairlife products, the Chicago-based company said in a March 17 news release.

Fairlife and its partner, Coca Cola Co., broke ground on the plant in March 2019.

“With cases now rolling off the line in Goodyear, today is an exciting day for fairlife and the consumers who love our products,” Neil Betteridge, senior vice president of global manufacturing for fairlife, said in a prepared statement.

“This new state-of-the-art facility allows us to significantly increase our production capabilities in the West Region and beyond while also bringing hundreds of jobs to Arizonans.”

In addition to the more than 100 jobs at the Goodyear facility, fairlife also has partnered with the United Dairymen of Arizona to source milk from numerous dairy farmers in the West Valley.

The new plant will use this milk to manufacture nearly all products in the fairlife portfolio, including the different varieties of fairlife ultra-filtered milk, Core Power, fairlife YUP! and its newest protein-rich beverage, fairlife nutrition plan, the release stated.

“With shared values of animal care and great nutrition, our partnership with the UDA has been a seamless and enjoyable part of opening this new plant in beautiful Arizona,” Mr. Betteridge said. “We look forward to ramping up production in the coming weeks to bring fairlife products to more consumers.”
