INDEPENDENT NEWSMEDIA
A weekend of work on eastbound Interstate 10 will reconfigure lanes between 48th Street and Broadway Road.
Drivers will see the change during the Monday morning rush hour when the lanes in the area are split to accommodate a work zone, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
There will be a roadway barrier separating crews within the work zone from the freeway traffic with two lanes on one side of the work zone and three lanes on the other, transportation officials said.
Drivers who want to exit onto US 60 using the general purpose lanes should move into the right three lanes before 48th Street,” ADOT officials said.
HOV lane access to eastbound US 60 will be unchanged.
