Scottsdale-based law firm DeFusco Law, P.L.C. has announced the latest group of Scottsdale teachers who will receive its classroom supply stipends.
Attorneys Andy and Bryn DeFusco are the founding partners at DeFusco Law, a firm dedicated to providing legal representation for victims of car accidents, crime, unreasonable conduct by insurance companies and wrongful death survivors, according to a press release.
Andy and Bryn DeFusco are products of public schools and with their children attending Scottsdale Unified School District schools, they claim to be passionate about supporting public education.
Twice a year since 2018, the DeFusco Law Classroom Supply Stipend Fund has awarded over $10,000 to teachers at the SUSD. Each year, DeFusco Law commits at least $3,000 in funding. Oftentimes, other community members of the business community contribute so that additional stipends can be awarded to deserving teachers.
As teachers return to their classrooms tasked with the demands of teaching during these unprecedented times, DeFusco Law provided grants to the following teachers:
DeFusco Law officials say they would like to thank Rimmer Lighting, Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital and Turquoise Farms for contributing funds that enable DeFusco Law to award additional stipends to teachers for the 2020-21 academic year.
