Deer Valley Unified School District employees will learn about summer pay rates this week.
The last day for the students this semester is Thursday, May 16.
The governing board will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, and among the voting items will be approving summer pay rates:
2024 Certified and exempt teachers: $45.41 per hour for student instruction only
Extra duty: $25 per hour
Nurse-BA $43.70 per hour
Nurse-RN $42.08 per hour
Nurse-LPN $36.41 per hour
Speech OT/PT: $59.63 per hour
Speech-BA: $48.56 per hour
OTA: $40.01 per hour
Psychologist: $64.85 per hour
Assistant principal: $400 daily rate
Principal: $450 daily rate
Classified Rates:
Crossing guard/campus monitor: $16 per hour
Clerk I/Instructional assistant: $16 per hour
Custodian II: $16 per hour
Para professional: $16.27 per hour
Secretary: I $16.55 per hour
Maintenance I/Warehouse: $16.70 per hour
