Council members to discuss how Tempe deals with opioid crisis

Three Tempe council members will lead a Community Conversation on Wednesday dealing with opioid misuse and how the city deals with the problem.

Joel Navarro, Berdetta Hodge and Doreen Garlid will explain how the city works nationally, regionally and locally to find ways to reduce opioid addiction during the session, which begins 5:30 p.m. Aug. 16 at the Tempe History Museum, 809 E. Southern Ave.
