Cigna Medical Group has relocated its operations in Goodyear to its new Palm Valley Health Center, 13481 West McDowell Road.

The 8,000-square-foot office opened Nov. 2 a couple of miles from its previous location, and provides primary care, adult medicine and laboratory services and has an onsite pharmacy, according to a news release from the health care company. The center serves 3,000 patients and now has the room to serve even more members of the community.

 “Cigna Medical Group has been a member of the local Goodyear community since 2009 and the greater Phoenix area for nearly 50 years,” Matthew Bennett, president of Cigna Medical Group, said in a prepared statement.

“We are excited to continue to grow with the community and care for the health and well-being of our patients. The new larger office provides our patients with a beautiful blend of comfort and convenience, in a bright and modern setting, that also allows plenty of room to grow our health care team and welcome new patients,”   he said.

 Cigna Medical Group is a 185-clinician multi-specialty group practice with 20 health care centers and four urgent cares providing services to nearly 100,000 patients across Maricopa County from Sun City to San Tan Valley.
