Bashas’ recently announced the promotion of Steve Mayer to president of the Bashas’ Operating Company.

In his new role, Mayer will lead the Bashas’ organization in Arizona and New Mexico, including all store and distribution-center operations, as well as sales and merchandising.
Mayer joined Bashas’ leadership team in 2020, most recently serving as chief operating officer. He is on a leadership team that includes Johnny Basha and Michael Basha, along with the The Raley’s Companies shared services leaders.
Raley’s Supermarkets purchased the Bashas’ chain in December 2021.
