Carmen Arvizu, 87Carmen Arvizu, 87, of Chandler died Nov. 21 in Tempe. She was a lifelong resident of Chandler and active in many organizations including the Altar Society of St. Mary's Parish in Chandler, the Guadalupanas, and the Senior Center in Chandler. She is survived by her son Paul (Katy), daughters Lupe (Ruben) Robles, Toni (Joe) Palomarez, Josie Ayala, Margie (Fidencio)Vargas, brother Jesus Arviso and 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren three great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Victoriano and Delfina Arvizu, husband David and daughter Sally Bobbitt.
