Buckeye construction worker who fell down 100-foot hole is safe

Buckeye police and fire rescued a construction site worker fell down a 100-foot deep hole.
According to the Buckeye Fire Department just after 11:30 a.m., they received a call that a worker fell into a hole at a construction site near Miller Road and Durango.
Buckeye police secured the scene as emergency personnel arrived to initiate a technical rescue.
Crews were able to establish communication with the worker who was described as an adult male.
The hole is believed to be approximately 100-feet deep. Personnel with Buckeye Fire, Arizona Fire and Medical Authority, Phoenix Fire, Avondale Fire, Peoria Fire, and Goodyear Fire were on scene in assisting with this rescue.
"Crews have successfully rescued the worker who fell at the construction site. The individual was transported to a regional medical center. The extent of injuries is unknown at this time," the BFD tweeted.
