She was born in Seattle, Wa., attended Port Orchard Grade School, graduated South Kitsap High School, and lived her early years helping her father raise her younger brother and sister while helping him run his turkey farm. When Betty moved to Pleasanton, she participated in many activities while living at Ridgeview Commons. She took bus tours to various venues and enjoyed being involved in "Blankets for Kids." The past 6½ years she lived at Parkview Assisted Living. There she enjoyed walks to the Senior Sensory Gardens to see the sweet peas. Betty had dear friends during her long, active life.
