American Leadership Academy has broken ground on its new school in north Mesa
The groundbreaking took place Thursday, Oct. 27 at 5901 E. Thomas Road. The K-12 public charter school will be tuition free.
“American Leadership Academy Mesa North has been eagerly awaited by families, educators, and community members alike and will profoundly impact the local educational landscape,” a press release stated.
At the groundbreaking, school officials unveiled American Leadership Academy Mesa North’s architectural plans and shared their vision “for this cutting-edge educational facility, state-of-the-art athletic facilities, complete with innovative classrooms and advanced technology,” the release added.
In the East and Southeast Valley, ALA already has two schools in Mesa, six in Queen Creek, four in Gilbert and two in Florence. In the West Valley, it has two schools in unincorporated Waddell.
