The Boot Barn Turquoise Circuit Finals Rodeo, presented by Bucky’s Casino, will return to Cave Creek Memorial Arena this fall for three nights of Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association competition.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 5, through Saturday, Nov. 7, with performances beginning at 7 p.m. each night. Gates will open at 5 p.m., giving fans time to enjoy food, vendors and family-friendly activities before the rodeo begins.
A variety of seating options, ranging from general admission to premium VIP experiences, will be available. VIP packages include premium views, reserved seating, complimentary beverages, buffet access and private amenities.
Options include the High Desert Skybox above the bucking chutes, the Red Rock Deck with suite-style seating along the fence line and the Turquoise Trail Lounge, which features multiple viewing areas and a private VIP bar.
For the first time, a limited number of corporate hospitality suites also will be available. The options include semi-private suites for groups of 10 and a party suite that can accommodate up to 40 guests. Limited availability is expected, and advance reservations are required upon availability. For more information on corporate hospitality, email tcfrfans@gmail.com.
A new Family Night will debut Thursday, Nov. 5, offering parents and children an affordable, interactive rodeo experience. From 5 to 6 p.m., families can try roping and meet professional cowboys and cowgirls before the evening performance.
Discounted general admission tickets for Family Night start at $18 with the promotional code FAMILYNITE26. Organizers encourage residents to purchase tickets early and take part in what has become a growing fall tradition in Cave Creek.
The Turquoise Circuit Finals Rodeo will feature leading cowboys and cowgirls from Arizona and New Mexico competing for circuit championships and the opportunity to advance to the PRCA NFR Open in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The top two finishers in each event will qualify to represent the Turquoise Circuit at the national competition, where circuit champions from across the country compete for recognition and prize money.
Fans will see a full slate of traditional rodeo competition, including timed events and roughstock events that test speed, precision, balance and strength.
Following each performance, fans are invited to attend a nightly buckle presentation recognizing the day’s top performers. The presentation will be held in the Turquoise Trail Lounge on the rodeo grounds.
“After a tremendous first year in Cave Creek, we’re excited to bring the Boot Barn Turquoise Circuit Finals Rodeo, presented by Bucky’s Casino, back to Cave Creek Memorial Arena,” said James Horcasitas, president of the Turquoise Circuit. “This event showcases the very best rodeo athletes from Arizona and New Mexico competing for their chance to advance to the NFR Open.”
The event also will feature Robbie Hodges, one of professional rodeo’s most sought-after barrelmen, known for his high-energy comedy, quick wit and family-friendly entertainment.
Hodges served as the barrelman at the 2010 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. He is a four-time PRCA Clown of the Year nominee, a nine-time Coors Man in the Can nominee and a three-time PRCA Comedy Act of the Year nominee.
He also is a two-time PRCA Freestyle Bullfights Barrelman of the Year and has appeared at multiple circuit finals, the Bullfighters Only Finals and Professional Bull Riders bullfighting events. His performances combine comedy, audience interaction and arena entertainment intended for fans of all ages.
Summer & Company also will perform during the rodeo. The trick-riding trio features Summer and her daughters, 10-year-old Emmie and 7-year-old Jinsen.
The girls began performing at age 4 and are among the youngest trick and Roman riders in the PRCA. Their performances combine athleticism, courage and grace while celebrating family, Western tradition and the art of trick riding.
In addition to the competition and specialty acts, guests can visit food vendors and commercial displays throughout the arena grounds. Arriving early will give spectators time to explore the venue, find their seats and enjoy the pre-rodeo atmosphere before the grand entry.
Horcasitas said fans can expect three nights of top-tier competition, Western hospitality and an atmosphere that reflects Cave Creek’s deep ties to rodeo culture. The event also provides an opportunity for residents to welcome visitors, support local businesses and celebrate the traditions that continue to shape the community.
