Scottsdale Water’s free Citizen Academy will return this fall, offering residents and business owners a behind-the-scenes look at the city’s water system.
Registration opened at 9 a.m. Aug. 12 and is limited to 35 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. The five-week academy will cover topics including water treatment, conservation, the Colorado River and how Scottsdale plans for the community’s future water needs.
Participants will tour water facilities, meet Scottsdale Water professionals and learn about the infrastructure and technology used to provide reliable water to the community.
