Scottsdale leadership program accepting new applications for board of directors

A Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce program is now accepting applications for new leadership.

The Scottsdale Rising Young Professionals program is accepting applications for its 2026 board of directors. According to a press release, the opportunity is open to engaged professionals between 23-39 who want to shape the future of the city as well as its professional network. Participants are said to be able to contribute to community growth, build leadership skills and connect with multiple peers across various industries.

The application period is open between July 25 and Aug. 8. The winning applications will be chosen on Aug. 15. According to the press release, interested applicants must submit a letter of intent to membership director Hannah Cole at hcole@scottsdalechamber.com. Applications must include work experience and professional background, current role and responsibilities, what applicant would bring to the board of directors, personal values and goals, motivation for joining the board and more.

Applicants must also have attended at least two SRYP-hosted events and will need to participate in up to three interviews with current board members.
