Royse Contemporary celebrates 4th anniversary with ‘Summer Spectacular’

Royse Contemporary presents its “Summer Spectacular” featuring an eclectic stable of artists with a group exhibition celebrating the gallery’s fourth anniversary.
Highlighting various mediums including painting, drawing, mixed-media, photography and sculpture, according to a press release, the artists featured are connected through their original styles, captivating work, and unique stories.
“It is my honor to work with this talented group of artists, focusing on each artists’ energetic styles, eclectic imagery and brilliant color palettes celebrating our four year anniversary,” said owner/curator Nicole Royse, in a prepared statement, adding each artist offers a distinct voice, ingenuity, accomplished resume and an impressive body of work.
The exhibition features work from these artists: James Angel, Angel Cabrales, Charmagne Vasquez Coe, Cam DeCaussin, Gennaro Garcia, Cherie Buck-Hutchison, Peter Brian Klein, Marilyn Szabo, Daniel Shepherd, and Casey Wakefield as well as work from special guest artists Fausto Fernandez, Fred Tieken and Scott “ColorOrgy” Wolf.
“With such a variety of work there is something for everyone and I am truly thrilled to bring such proactive work and a stellar collection with such energy for our four year anniversary. The ‘Summer Spectacular’ is a must see exhibition that is sure to captivate, impress, and inspire,” Royse said.
The “Summer Spectacular opens to the public on Aug. 5, coinciding with the Scottsdale Artwalk from 6-9 p.m., and is on display through Oct. 2. A special, intimate celebration will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Aug. 26, for the four-year anniversary, the release said.
Royse Contemporary, located in the Scottsdale Arts District in the Marshall Square complex, is open 6-9 p.m. on Thursdays and 12-4 p.m. on Saturdays; and offers appointments.
