Old Town Scottsdale short-term rental community put on the market

Posted

The Cooke Team at Colliers International in Arizona has been retained to market the MZ Scottsdale development for sale.

The Old Town Scottsdale property, at 7300 E. Minnezona Ave., is Arizona’s first Net Zero Energy townhome community and features 11 townhomes, according to a press release.

“This project is unlike any other in the city,” said Chris Roach with Colliers International in Arizona. “It was created by MODUS Development, one of the most innovative and environmentally conscious developers. These energy independent homes offer incredible high-end living in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale. Currently the units are fully leased with impressive rental rates.”

According to the press release, this one-of-a-kind property offers a rare opportunity to investors for acquisition of a boutique, luxury property.

MZ Scottsdale, built in 2018, features 11 furnished rental townhomes that average 1,570 square feet with parking garages. The community is located just east of the Camelback and Scottsdale roads, within the heart of Scottsdale.

The property currently is operated as a short-term rental community. One of the investment’s most unusual benefits is the ability for the buyer to either continue renting the townhomes for short-term stays, to implement long-term rentals or sell them individually as condominiums, the press release stated.

All units are pre-wired for solar panel and battery storage. LED lighting, Energy Star appliances, Next thermostats and Control4 home automation systems are included.
