The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation is opening a new site-responsive exhibition in Scottsdale soon.
Desert Mirror by interdisciplinary artist and Arizona State University professor Erika Lynne Hanson will debut on Jan. 16 at Taliesin West, Wright’s UNESCO World Heritage site in Scottsdale, and will run through May 31, according to a press release.
The exhibit features weaving, sculpture and video inspired by Wright’s organic architecture and the construction method of Desert Masonry. The art will be installed across five spaces, including the garden room, Wright’s office, tower fountain, kiva and cabaret.
