IKEA has announced a grand opening date for its incoming “Plan & Order Point” in Scottsdale.

IKEA recently announced a new “Plan & Order Point” location at The Promenade in Scottsdale, with a confirmed grand opening date.
Opening day will be Wednesday, May 7, starting at 9:40 a.m.
The smaller format store is unlike a traditional big-box IKEA store, allowing shoppers to order furniture and pick it up. It also allows IKEA customers to meet with IKEA team members to plan and order home furnishings that may require more help—such as kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms.
Customers can explore showrooms, work with IKEA team members on home furnishing solutions and interact with products before making a final purchase.
IKEA has been in the Phoenix market for more than 20 years since opening its first store in Tempe in 2004. IKEA at The Promenade Scottsdale will be approximately 2,000 square feet of leased retail space, according to a press release.
The Plan & Order Point will be located at 16451 N. Scottsdale Rd., Suite F107. It will be open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
