HonorHealth branch celebrates 20th anniversary

A HonorHealth facility in Scottsdale recently celebrated a landmark anniversary.

HonorHealth Scottsdale Thompson Peak Medical Center celebrated its 20th year in operation on Oct. 8, according to a press release. The full-service hospital first opened its doors in 2005 and has been serving the needs of North Scottsdale for two decades. The hospital has earned recognitions such as Medicare 5-star quality ratings, U.S. News & World Report High Performing Hospital designation, Leapfrog ‘A’ safety grades and more.

According to the press release, HonorHealth has plans for further expansion in the future. One such plan is a patient care building with 56 additional beds, operating rooms and medical office space. This building will be completed in the next few years.
