Scottsdale-based real estate brokerage firm HomeSmart raised over $20,000 for its agent emergency fund and charitable arm at a recent golf event.
The Nov. 4 event hosted at McCormick Ranch Golf Club in Scottsdale was attended by golf enthusiasts, sponsors and real estate professionals, according to a press release.
The event benefited HomeSmart Helps, the brokerage’s charitable arm and agent assistance fund founded in 2007. The fund can be requested by agents who need emergency assistance for things such as paying utility and medical bills or covering funeral costs. The fund also facilitates volunteer opportunities for charitable efforts within communities where HomeSmart operates.
