Former Brophy receiver Devin Fitzgerald to present father at Football HOF

CANTON, OH. — Former Brophy and current University of Notre Dame football player Devin Fitzgerald will present his father, Larry, at the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2026 enshrinement ceremony.
The news comes following the passing of Larry’s father, Larry Fitzgerald Sr., in June at the age of 71. Fitzgerald Sr., a longtime journalist, was originally supposed to present his son before Devin was asked to step in by his father.
Devin will join his father onstage as they unveil the bronze bust this Sat., Aug. 8.
