Area educational leaders will discuss students’ preparedness for the workforce April 30.

The Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with First Things First, presents Scottsdale Forward 2025: Empowering Tomorrow’s Workforce – Strategies for Education, Business, and Community Success.
This event will bring together educational leaders, business innovators, and community stakeholders to explore the strategies, resources, and partnerships that are shaping Scottsdale’s young workforce, according to a press release.
The event will feature a panel of education experts who will discuss the critical intersection of education and workforce readiness:
Dr. Scott A. Menzel, superintendent, Scottsdale Unified School District.
Dr. Eric Leshinskie, president, Scottsdale Community College.
Dr. Chad Wilson, superintendent, East Valley Institute of Technology.
The panel discussion will be followed by a keynote presentation by Dr. Carole G. Basile, dean of the Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation at Arizona State University.
The event is scheduled from 7:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m., Wednesday, April 30 at the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa, 6902 E. Greenway Parkway, Scottsdale.
Tickets are $30 for chamber members or $40 for nonmembers.
