PCSO has new safety tool for Country Thunder

The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office is introducing a new way for fans to keep safe at this year’s Country Thunder.

Country Thunder 2024 runs April 11-14, which means thousands of country music fans will be descending onto the Florence area.

Starting this year, attendees can now text CT2024 to 65513 to sign up for festival-related emergency alerts, PCSO Sheriff Mark Lamb stated in a reel posted on PCSO’s Facebook page.

“Also, during the festival, you're going to see my guys and gals out there making sure that everyone has a great time,” Lamb stated. “So, please be safe, stay hydrated and have fun.”
