San Tan Valley school scores in CAC math test
Central Arizona College
San Tan Valley's Poston Butte High School students had a strong showing at the Central Arizona College Pinal County High School math competition. Poston Butte is in the Florence Unified School District.

The Florence Unified School District would like to congratulate students at San Tan Valley's Poston Butte High School for having a strong showing at the Central Arizona College Pinal County High School math competition.
Gavin Patterson and Lily Venator, both 10th graders at Poston Butte, won first place in the Level 1 team competition on April 4.
Seven Poston Butte students qualified for the finals, which means they beat out about 200 students from different schools. The finalists were Tina Thai, Graeson Herman, Brayden Lantz, Katie Kazmierczak, Adelene Martinez-Ruiz, Venator and Patterson
Patterson and12th grader Katie Kazmierczak also made it into the Top 15 in the finals, meaning they are in the top 15 mathletes in the county.
The competition was held at CAC’s Signal Peak Campus in Coolidge.
CAC has campuses in Apache Junction, San Tan Valley, Coolidge, Maricopa and Winkleman.
