Queen Creek's new Sprouts store opens soon

A new Sprouts Farmers Market in Queen Creek is ready for customers.

The store will hold a ribbon cutting at 6:45 a.m., Friday, Aug. 18, at 37666 N. Gantzel Road. The doors will open for shoppers at 7 a.m. This is the second Sprouts in Queen Creek. The first is located at 21186 S. Ellsworth Loop Road.

“We are so proud to welcome another Sprouts Farmers Market to the Town of Queen Creek,” stated Julia Wheatley, mayor of Queen Creek, in a press release. “In addition to providing fresh, healthy and specialty foods to our residents, Sprouts is bringing 100 jobs to our community. Queen Creek is proud to grow and attract businesses that enhance the quality of life for our residents, and we're excited for the success of the Vineyard Towne Center development and its anchor store, Sprouts." 

From Aug. 18 through Sunday, Aug. 20, a variety of activities will take place to celebrate the grand opening. A “pop-up party” out front will give guests the chance to taste seasonal produce, play games, have their faces painted and watch artists carve large produce.

The store will also have a “guess the weight” contest of an oversized piece of produce over the opening. weekend. On Sunday, beginning at noon, dog lovers will be given dog treats and kids will receive a reusable coloring tote activity.

The first 200 shoppers on Friday and Saturday will receive a free, reusable goodie bag filled with special products and samples.

Before the store opens, shoppers have until midnight Aug. 18 to register to win a $500 Sprouts gift card when they sign up via the website. To sign up to win the gift card, visit sprouts.com.

Additionally, customers who text “VALLEY” to 777-688 will receive 20% off their purchase over the grand opening weekend when they scan their app account barcode at checkout. Up to two discount redemptions per Sprouts account per day are allowed, according to the release.

On Monday, Aug 21, customers will receive $10 off when they spend $50 or more with a valid coupon.

The new Sprouts will be open daily from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m.
