Trevor’s Liquor is hosting a community toy drive on Saturday, Dec. 6, with the goal of filling an entire truck with toys to support children in foster care through The Foster Alliance. The event invites the community to stop by, donate a new unwrapped toy and help make the holidays brighter for foster children across Arizona.

While toys can be donated at any Trevor’s location, including three in east Phoenix, during the week leading up to the event, the event itself, which includes a raffle for those who donate, will be held at the McDowell location, 7340 E. McDowell Road in Scottsdale. Doors open at 9 a.m., The Rolling Pizza Kitchen starts serving at 10 a.m. and exclusive bottle releases begin at 11 a.m. The allocated raffle kicks off at 1 p.m. Winners will select from the available bottles, then proceed to the register to check out. You must be present at the raffle to win.

Each person who donates at least one unopened toy valued at $20 will earn one raffle entry per person. If you donated earlier in the week, don’t forget to bring your ticket to the event on Saturday.

As the number of children in foster care continues to rise, The Foster Alliance (formerly Arizona Helping Hands) is experiencing record need this season. Donations from events like this help provide holiday gifts to thousands of children who may otherwise go without.
