Sky's the limit: Phoenix Deer Valley Airport projects continued growth

Phoenix Deer Valley Airport has grown by about 33% in the last decade, but a lot more growth could be on the horizon.

Deer Valley went from 369,759 aircraft operations in 2015 to 490,702 in 2025. The Federal Aviation Administration projects it will reach about 550,000 by 2030 and about 600,000 by 2045.

“It is popping, that area, and that obviously informs different types of aviation demand at the airport, not the least of which is corporate aviation demand,” Deputy Aviation Director Jordan Feld told the Phoenix Aviation Advisory Board on Aug. 20.
