McShane Construction Company is underway with construction on Banyan North Tempe on behalf of Banyan Residential and Milhaus.
Based in the northern region of Tempe, the new multifamily development aims to provide 310 units across three four-story, garden-style buildings. The development is one of seven apartment communities McShane is constructing in the Phoenix metropolitan area, according to a press release.
“Positioned at Miller and Curry roads, Banyan North Tempe is an Opportunity Zone project located in a very active development corridor,” said Jim Kurtzman, senior vice president at McShane in a prepared statement. “Tenants will not only have a beautiful, amenity-filled development to call home, they will also have easy access to downtown Tempe, Phoenix and Sky Harbor International Airport.”
The 11.12-acre site will also incorporate 8,000 square feet of amenity space including a commercial-grade fitness center, live-work units, an outdoor pool and spa, fire pits, barbeques and a dog park overlooking downtown Tempe.
Additionally, there will be parking for 510 vehicles, the release states.
Completion of Banyan North Tempe is expected in April 2023. The architect of record is Todd & Associates.
