Mesquite Fresh Street Mex raising funds for Autism Awareness Month

April is Autism Acceptance Month, and a locally owned Mexican restaurant is holding a monthlong fundraising campaign for the local autism community.

Mesquite Fresh Street Mex will partner with the Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center throughout April to garner donations for the nonprofit’s various programs and autism research initiatives.

Mesquite patrons who mention "SARRC’" at checkout in-person or input "SARRC" into the promo code field during online checkout can donate a percentage of proceeds from their order.

Proceeds generated throughout April will support SARRC’s research efforts and more than 20 programs and services for the autism community.
