Gabriel Moreno and Corbin Carroll are looking to do something just two players in Diamondback history have done: win a Gold Glove and Silver Slugger in the same season.

The catcher and right fielder already secured their Gold Gloves, announced on Sunday. As of Thursday’s announcement, they are also finalists for the Silver Slugger.

Only first baseman Paul Goldschmidt and pitcher Zack Greinke have ever won both awards in a season for the Diamondbacks. Goldschmidt did it in 2013, 2015 and 2017, and Greinke did it in 2019.
