Tanger Outlets in Glendale takes school needs grant applications

Tanger Outlets Phoenix, which is in Glendale will begin accepting applications for the TangerKids Grants Program for Valley Schools Aug. 17.

On Aug. 10 Tanger Outlets Phoenix announced that the Glendale outlet mall’s annual TangerKids Grants Program will return for the 2026-27 academic year.
The program provides resources that help local students thrive. Educators in the Valley are encouraged to apply for funding at grants.tanger.com from Aug. 17 through Oct. 18.
TangerKids Grants Program gives teachers and education leaders across the country the opportunity to identify classroom and school needs and request funding for programs that support student success
Grants may be used for initiatives that enhance learning environments, improve accessibility, address student needs and provide additional resources for schools and classrooms. Faculty members at public and private schools serving pre-K through grade 12 students are eligible to apply.
For 30 years, Tanger has invested in education by providing more than $3.9 million in grants to schools and educational programs through 38 outlet centers and four open-air lifestyle centers.
In 2025, TangerKids Grants awarded an estimated $200,000 to initiatives throughout the U.S. and Canada. Grant winners for 2026 in each community will be announced and celebrated during the center’s annual TangerKids Day in January 2027.
