Student artists contest to design 'I Voted' sticker now open

Peoria is asking teens to share their civic creativity and design a new “I Voted” sticker for the upcoming November general election.

The City of Peoria City Clerk’s Office and the Neighborhood Services Department are hosting the design competition for all Peoria Unified School District high school students in grades 9–12.

Students are encouraged to create an original, eye-catching and nonpartisan design that celebrates voting and civic pride. The winning artwork will be printed and given to those who vote in person at Peoria City Hall on Election Day Nov. 3. The student artist will also be formally recognized at the Oct. 20 city council meeting.
