An evening of live music, community, and hope will return to north Peoria later this year.
The RaeRae of Light organization has announced the return of its signature fundraising event, The Beat Goes On, on Saturday, Oct. 17, in north Peoria.
This event brings together families, friends, community members, and local businesses to celebrate life, raise awareness for congenital heart defects, and support the work of Phoenix Children's Center for Heart Care.
Guests will enjoy an evening of live entertainment, food and beverages, a silent auction, physician and family speakers, and opportunities to connect with others who share a passion for making a difference in the lives of children impacted by congenital heart defects.
Proceeds from The Beat Goes On will also benefit the Phoenix Children's Center for Heart Care, helping provide specialized care, treatment, and support services for children and families navigating congenital heart defects.
"Every child deserves the opportunity to thrive," said Amy Norris, founder and executive director of RaeRae of Light. "The Beat Goes On is more than a fundraiser—it's a celebration of resilience, hope, and the incredible community that comes together to support heart families. Every ticket purchased, every sponsorship, and every donation helps make a meaningful impact."
The RaeRae of Light organization is dedicated to supporting children with congenital heart defects and their families by providing financial assistance, resources, and programs that bring comfort and hope during some of life's most challenging moments.
Community members are invited to attend, become sponsors, or donate auction items to help make this year's event a success.
