SPRING TRAINING

Peoria Sports Complex fans in 2026 ate how many hot dogs?

Attendance was up at the West Valley ballpark, where nonprofits also benefitted this spring

The Seatle Mariners and San Diego Padres know how to draw a crowd of baseball fans to the West Valley.

Peoria Sports Complex, home to both clubs, just wrapped its 33rd spring training season in Peoria and drew 214,400 total fans to all 32 games, an increase of almost 2,000 fans from a year ago.

Collective attendance at all 10 Valley spring training stadiums rose for the fifth straight season in 2026. The Cactus League drew a total of 1,753,849 fans to 237 games, a 3.4% increase representing a change of 58,369 fans over 2025 and the largest single-season attendance total since 2018.
