A local HVAC company just made this summer a little more bearable for two Peoria veterans.

Larzo Pila and Christopher Meyer are roommates who live in the Arrowhead area and share the bond of being veterans — Pila served in the U.S. Army and Meyer in the U.S. Air Force.

Their A/C unit is the original unit that came with the house, and after years of use, it can no longer keep up, so they have been struggling to afford the repairs. They have been relying on fans to keep cool throughout the day.
