The Paradise Valley Police Department will host its monthly Coffee With A Cop event at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 7 at the PVPD Auditorium, 6433 E. Lincoln Drive.
The October event will focus on domestic violence awareness, prevention and available community resources, according to the department's social media.
The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office will present information on recognizing warning signs, accessing resources and services available to people affected by domestic violence.
Residents can also meet with Paradise Valley police officers, ask questions and discuss community concerns.
October is recognized as Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
