NOAH will offer increased access to care

Neighborhood Outreach Access to Health, a community health center providing healthcare to underserved populations in the Valley, has opened a new facility in Scottsdale.

The new site is at 8705 E. McDowell Road, just off the Loop 101.

Cholla Health Center will offer integrated care including medical, counseling, psychiatry, dental, nutrition and community resources all under one roof. Laboratory services provided by Sonora Quest will also be on site.

“Expanded access to care both by location and sheer size, employing more than 120 people here at full capacity, will absolutely benefit the health and well-being of this community like we have never seen before,” CEO Wendy Armendariz shared in a statement.

This $6 million development, 32,000 square-foot facility, reimagined by Integrity Building Corp., from a previous car dealership, will house 24 medical exam rooms, six dental suites, delicately and spaciously designed group therapy and play therapy rooms, as well as several community resource rooms dedicated to serve more than 16,000 individuals in Scottsdale, east Phoenix, Tempe and Mesa.

New and existing patients can be seen at Cholla Health Center from 7a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. NOAH offers Sliding Fee Scale and self-pay discounts depending on household income and family size, and accepts most private and public insurances including AHCCCS/Medicaid.

Patient records, eligibility and insurance information will automatically transfer from current and former NOAH locations for exiting patients who wish to be seen at the Cholla location.
