St. Apkar Armenian Church invites the Arizona community to join in a celebration of the Armenian culture Nov. 4 and 5 at its annual ArmeniaFest in Scottsdale.

St. Apkar Armenian Apostolic Church announces the return of its annual ArmeniaFest 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, at St. Apkar, 8849 E. Cholla St. Admission and parking are free. Veterans and active military personnel will receive a 10 percent food discount.
ArmeniaFest is a weekend-long celebration of Armenian culture and will feature live music, a DJ, dancers, vendors, a kids zone and a variety of authentic Armenian cuisine, including kebab, sarma, boureg, lahmejune, hummus, taboulleh, gata, baklava and choreg, as well as Armenian cognac, beer, wine and coffee.
“St. Apkar is the religious and cultural hub for Armenians throughout Arizona, united in our shared faith and history,” said Rev. Fr. Zacharia Seribekyan, parish priest of St. Apkar Armenian Apostolic Church. “Every year we look forward to sharing our faith and culture with our friends and neighbors across the Valley with traditional foods, music and dancing at ArmeniaFest.”
