Mesa police seek help in homicide case

The owner of Lamb’s Shoe Repair in Mesa was found dead inside his store on Tuesday, and the Mesa Police Department is asking for assistance in finding his killer.

Police said they are investigating a homicide that occurred Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 28 S. Macdonald.

The owner of the store, 58-year-old Jesus De La Rosa, was found dead inside his business.

Police said they believe  it to be an isolated incident and are not releasing the manner of death.

Police are asking customers who visited the between 9 a.m. and noon on Dec. 6 to call the non-emergency line at 480-644-2211.

“You may have information that could help solve this case,” police said in a release.
