Charles Smith, the Mesa man arrested Dec. 21 for spraying pesticide on food in Walmart after he posted videos on social media should receive maximum punishment if convicted.
There are numerous videos online of him allegedly assaulting and endangering others; these actions show he has no remorse.
Mesa isn’t the only place he’s done things like this; he’s taped himself in numerous locations in Arizona vandalizing property and endangering fast food workers by throwing items in deep fryers, causing them to overflow and potentially injuring said workers.
He’s also been seen destroying personal property and what he finally was arrested for: poisoning food. This man is a repeat offender and should not be able to see the light of day without constant surveillance. What is to stop him from taking his actions a step further next time?
Don’t make the mistake of letting people believe they can do such things with little to no punishment.
